Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky. ~Rabindranath Tagore

In Greek mythology, Athena is the goddess of wisdom, war, strategy, industry, justice and skill. Athena is also a shrewd companion of heroes and the goddess of heroic endeavour. She is the virgin patron of Athens. The Athenians built the Parthenon, on the Acropolis of her namesake city, Athens, in her honour.

“There’s more, much more, to Christmas than candlelight and cheer; It’s the spirit of sweet friendship That brightens all year. It’s thoughtfulness and kindness, It’s hope reborn again, For peace, for understanding, And for goodwill to men!”
Merry Christmas to all!!
Christmas or Noel is such a beautiful time of year in Paris – the lights on the boulevards, the beautiful windows and displays in the stores, the hope of snow, the happy faces in the streets. Walk down the Champs Elysées any evening around Christmas time and marvel at the gorgeous lighting displays along this avenue, truly delightful and which will definitely get you in the Christmas mood!

“What is life? It is the flash of a firefly in the night. It is the breath of a buffalo in the wintertime. It is the little shadow which runs across the grass and loses itself in the sunset.”
The Côte d’Azur, often known in English as the French Riviera, is the Mediterranean coastline of the south eastern corner of France, extending from Menton near the Italian border in the east to either Hyères or Cassis in the west. This coastline was one of the first modern resort areas.

I took this photo in the botanical garden of Paris. I found the situation very endearing somehow.
